Vision and Quick Victories

  Autor says that leader should have two goals; long-term and short-term goal. The first one is the ultimate goal, for Shackelton it was "bringing every man back alive." The latter one is for  taking decisive action and in the case, it was to go to the food stores or keeping the fire.
